United Heroes only collects the personal information that users choose to voluntarily share with us. When signing up, users must provide:

• an email address,
• a password,
• a first and last name,
• and optionally:
  • their gender
  • their date of birth,
  • their country
• and, if they connect a sports app, their activity data : activity type, distance and duration of the activity, elevation gain. 

⚠️ Good to know: the first and last name will be visible on the rankings of the challenges and/or virtual races users take part in, regardless of whether their profile is set to private. This information will only be visible to other users who have taken part in or are registered for those events.

Protecting your privacy matters to us. At United Heroes, we hold a few core principles:

• We don't ask for personal information unless we truly need it. Every user has a choice.

• We respect the right to privacy and share your concerns about data security.

• We do not collect: your geolocation, your weight, or your heart rate data. Under no circumstances is this information sent to a third party.
