How to filter your statistics by group, team, or geographic zone?

By default, the statistics shown in your Dashboard cover your entire community. If your organization is structured into several teams β€” whether internal departments (Sales, Tech, HR...) or geographic zones (one team per country or region) β€” you can filter the data to only show a specific group, team, or zone.

This article explains where to find this filter and how to use it, whatever way your teams are organized.

πŸ“Œ The filter relies on the 3 levels of the team hierarchy configured for your community: Team Level 1, Team Level 2 and Team Level 3 (from the broadest to the most specific).
🌍 If your teams are named after countries or regions (for example Spain Team or Australian Team), filtering by "geographic zone" simply means filtering by the corresponding team name: there is no separate geographic filter.
πŸ” A coordinator account's visibility depends on the team level it is assigned to: an account assigned to the topmost level (level 0) sees all teams and sub-teams, while an account assigned to a level 1, 2 or 3 team only sees that team and its direct sub-teams, with no access to sibling teams or to the levels above.

πŸ” Filtering your Dashboard statistics

  1. Go to your Dashboard.
  2. Choose the section you want to view (for example Engagement or Impact).
  3. At the top of the page, click the Team Level 1, Team Level 2 or Team Level 3 filter matching the team level you want to filter by.
  4. Search for the team's name (or the geographic zone's name, if that's how your teams are named) in the search field, then select it from the suggested list. You can select several teams within the same level.
  5. Click Add filter to apply it: the statistics shown are now limited to that team, and to its sub-teams where applicable.

You can combine several levels at once (for example a Team Level 1 then a Team Level 2) to narrow your view further. To remove a filter, click the cross next to its name.

πŸ“€ Filtering an export by team

The same principle applies to data exports: under the Community tab, you'll find the same Team Level 1, Team Level 2 and Team Level 3 filters at the top of the screen, to limit the export to a specific team or geographic zone.

βœ… You now know how to filter your statistics and exports by group, team or geographic zone.
